When I first started out in photography college, I was trained to pose, edit, and to make a photo feel as staged and unrealistic as possible. Something did not sit right with me and I found myself constantly wanting more of a challenge. I wanted to be able to capture something real, something raw. I made it my mission to approach my business in such a way where I can give my clients direction without feeling super "posed". After all, we want to see the REAL emotion that was felt during those times. I try to spend time getting to know my families and couples as best as I can to make them feel comfortable in my presence so that we can get the best version of who you truly are.
